A couple of weeks ago I was alerted to the unveiling of Internet marketing guru Matt Callen’s new “Blogger Apps” at http://www.bloggerapps.com. It promised, among other things:
Turn Your Sites Into Deadly Effective Cash Machines While Working an Hour Per Day or Less, and Explode Your Adsense and Affiliate Income Each Month From Increased,
FREE Traffic”
As I am sometimes know to do, I took advantage of the “presale” offer. After all, it promised to help me automate my blog, right?
So I plunk down the $29 (at least it wasn’t $129) and log in. And to my surprise this is what I found:
2 pages. One, a place to “schedule” posts and the other a social bookmarking/posting page.
What? Was I seeing this right?
WordPress has automated posting BUILT IN, how is this helpful, or even needed? And with socialposter, I can do the exact same thing as his other tool.
Yep, I was taken. And this time, since it wasn’t through ClickBank, I have no reasonable way to ask for a refund.
So, if you are considering Matt Callen’s Blogger Apps, seriously rethink you decision. WordPress has the functionality built in, and socialposter.com is free.
And this, my friends is the last straw, and I am finally unsubscribing from Matt Callen’s news feed.

not sure if you knew this but,if you search for Matt Callen this post is on the first page. Thanks for the save on Autobugerapp.
Matt Callen continues to make false and misleading statements on every piece of junk he throws up! Example: My article network. It said in a H2tag … and do all of this in a 100% legit and Google-friendly way…
Matt cutts at wordcamp 09 stated the bogus wordpress only network was the complete oposite of google friendly. He claims 10,000 splogs on the network. But google was easily able to remove most from their index. So what do you get for 47$ a month (Maybe Blacklisted).
Even the new FTC laws do not seem to scare Mr Matt Callen. Is he Human?
I’m not sure why he refuses to provide value to his customers when this process is all the rage among his pears. I do no this eventually you run out of people to scam.
Matt’s My Article Network myarticlenetwork.com claims to provide free copyrighted material. The material he provides infringes on copyright.
I’ve used my article network and have had really good results with it. Everyone knows Google doesn’t need 100% unique copy anyway, just partially unique content.
But yes, there is definitely copy infringement going on
I just wasted 5 minutes being led through two pitch pages for the product- the first promised it for free for a time and the second wanted cash. No great surprise. This guy will end up in prison or worse. There is a good reason that Internet scammers work hard not to get their photographs plastered all over the net. Looks like Matt Callen didn’t get that particular memo.
“He claims 10,000 splogs on the network. But google was easily able to remove most from their index.”
I’ve been using MyArticleNetwork and finding my articles all over the search engine results. Some are on the first page!
According to the statistics in MyArticleNetwork I have approved 522 articles for publication at trafficrocketblog.com my marketing blog. Instead of being removed from Google’s index my blog has the same PageRank as this one. I only approved those articles for publication on my blog if they were well written and there was something to learn from them. Anik Singal’s endorsement is on there. I’ve seen articles come through from Mike Filsaime as well. So, I know he not only endorsed Matt Callen but uses his services as well. I know Joel Comm personally and know that he would not endorse Matt Callen as he did here: www. mattcallen.com unless he could sincerely endorse him.
As to copyright infringement: Before I can publish a thing to MyArticleNetwork I have to check a box that says the content is completely mine and is not infringing anyone’s copyright. The text next to the box is bright red and bolded. It threatens banning from the network for a violation. I had occasion to write support about the issue and was impressed when they held fast to their integrity on the issue.
I also had occasion to write support about broken links in some of the blog posts I approved, and again, they held fast to their integrity, telling me that my only option was to delete the post.
Bought Matt’s HyperVRE Gold. From day 1 it would not work. Submitted help tickets. Over a 9 day period never got it working. I did get a refund but they were somewhat rude about it. Don’t waste your time or money!
