Verizon Wireless Promotion
I heard on the radio today that Verizon Wireless was running a new promotion about buying 1 phone, getting one free (which isn’t new) and then I heard what the main hook was:
Buy now, activate later.
Ok, so you can buy the phones and put them under the tree, ok, sure whatever. But then the “fine print” is read… phones must be activated by December 24th.
Huh? So you buy a phone to activate later, but you have to open it before December 24th - in other words the 23rd.
Something is fishy there…
