There, that should keep me busy for a while…

For year I have been tempted to buy some of the Voyagers! boot-leg DVDs on eBay. I absolutely loved the TV show.

For those who don’t quite remember, it was the story of Bogg and Jeffrey, who traveled through time to help history along, give it a push where it’s needed. They are responsible for sending Moses down the Nile as a baby, and basically righting history. So how does history go wrong? Due to a BAD Voyager, of course.

they traveled through time by using an Omni (replicas can be found for about $700 – me want) and a light turned from red to green once the timeline was fixed. Of course, things would be easier with a manual (aka a history book) but Bogg left his in the 1980s when he bumped into Jeffrey.

I remember being upset there were so few episodes, only to find out many years later it was because of Jon-Erik Hexum accidentally shot himself with a blank in a prop gun. I so wanted to order the boot-leg versions, but they were a) expensive and b) copies of 1980′s VHS tapes … can you say… ew?

So now I see they will be released on Amazon on July 17th. Woo hoo! This is going to be great!
