Tax Crunch Begins

I want to have my taxes more or less done by the end of tonight. Then, when the real documents arrive (w2, investment income, etc) I just have to plug them in. While I enjoy running several side businesses, such as my acting/renaissance “job” - doing Schedule C’s every year is kind of a pain… especially finding deductions, keeping track of expenditures and payments, etc etc.

We received about 5-7 inches of snow last night, and when I went to the grocery store last night before the mess, I failed to pick up any liquid refreshments. My street and driveway are as of yet unplowed, so I took off into the white wasteland to the Kwik Shop on 24th and Grand to purchase my nutritional supplements - Mt. Dew.

And now… I begin my tax whittling by going through all of my GoDaddy.com receipts from the last year. I will update this post with the final total so we can all be appalled.

GoDaddy Total: $733.01

Update: 9:40AM

Going well, have gone through all CC receipts and regular receipts categorizing everything.  The sad part is that every year I say I’m going to organize things better BEFOREHAND, but that never works.
