Feeling a little better after a lot of sleep, a lot of chicken noodle soup, and a lot of Gatorade. Of course the one downside of drinking a lot of Gatorade is then you can’t sleep for very long since you then have to “get rid” of it.
A coworker came down with this same thing and she has been battling the side effects for close to 10 days. Ugh. I really hope I am able to shake it off before that, especially since the Riverssance Renaissance Festival is only a week away, and the Pumpkin Fest is immediately after that.
Most of the Captain Hook costume came yesterday and it is definitely a “costume” but the coat should suffice. Also bought a long black curly wig. I still need a good hat, and white shoes with buckles. eBay time. The rest of the sword guild is going to participate in a wedding when I am at one of the pumpkin festival gigs and I wish I would be able to go.
I’m hoping for some warmer weather after the bought of cold we’ve had the last few days. Of course with my fever I even lit the furnace pilot light and have had that running all day. Being out in the cold after getting over whatever illness I have would not be fun.
