Getting Back to Normal

With one week left of the Des Moines Renassaince Faire (but still about a month and a half left of weekends performing) tonight was a pleasant night of catching up on cleaning and laundry. My floor was covered in mud from the many weekends of rain, and the state of the entire apartment could be summed up by: yuck!

So things are slowly getting back to normal. I can actually sit on all 3 sections of the sectional couch (2 sections in the living room, one in the office) and I even went through 3 “junk drawers” in the kitchen. There is still a lot to do before I get everything exactly put away and back to normal, but its nice to be able to sit down at something besides the computer and just sit.
