Changing the kitty litter
A year ago my mom and her new husband bought me a washer and dryer for my birthday/Christmas. These new big, loud machines suddenly took over my cat’s “space” for her litter box. There was room in there for her “duty” but she would have nothing of it and I would find surprises everywhere. NOT fun. Eventually I relented and put the litterbox in my “office” room where the computer is, so when there was a ripe one and she didn’t cover it up.. I knew right away.
This evening I moved it back into the laundry area. I don’t think she has used it yet, but there aren’t any surprises yet either. I just hope I don’t wake up tomorrow to find she has soiled the new carpet.
She should be ok now that it has been a year, and I won’t use them but a couple of times a week. Still, I’m a little scared. We shall see!
