I Saw That
So here’s a picture you won’t find on At The Faire or the Des MOines Renaissance Festival site…
We made picnic tables today - manual labor oh joy. And At the end I was on the table sawthingie. Well, everything was going great, and I finally decided to put on gloves because the wood was wet. About 3PM we decided to make enough pieces for 10 more tables, so we sped some things up. I got done sawing one board in half, clicked it to OFF and then slid another one into its place.
I then felt a tickling sensation on my finger.
I immediately pulled my hand back and looked at my glove and there was a slit on it.
Now, Ive heard/seen people get fingers chopped off before, and usually with a saw it is fast and quick, sometimes without them feeling it. So, I carefully slid my hand out of the glove…
Not a scratch, save a light scoring on my fingernail, barely noticeable.
Yowza.
