And So It Begins

There is a line from Babylon 5 that was fairly prominent: “And so it begins…” and that is how I feel about this weekend. There are far too many things to do this weekend, and it is going to be humid and hot (around 98 degrees, without heat index) and one of my to-do’s involves being outside for an hour or two.

I need to…

~~Do laundry~~
~~Finish up a shopping cart for the Lodge~~ - need final approval to make live
~~Redesign a web site for Ryan Merriman~~ -hope his mom likes it
Finish my PodShow profiles for a couple of my podcasts
Finish up the real web site for Iowa Music Podcast
~~Do another podcast~~ - RR #16 has been posted
~~Swordfighting with Robin Hood~~

Obviously some of those are more fun than others. I am really only concerned about the web site projects. If I get Ryan’s site pretty much done this weekend, I am thinking of rewarding myself with an iPod. Yes, even I, the podcaster extraordinaire do not yet have an iPod - pretty pathetic isn’t it? To make it worth my while I have been holding out for either the 30GB or 60GB video iPods … preferably the 60GB… if yer gonna get one, why not get the highest one? The nano is only 2GB and I have a small MP3 player that will take a SDcard so no need to get a nano.

But a 60GB video would be fun and would make me feel like a REAL podcaster.

Edit: And this is harder than it sounds. Besides Ryan having a very large web site already, I stayed up till 1AM playing World of Warcraft online last night. Sleepy…
