Been Holding the Hold Em

True to my word – no Hold Em games have been played since the last time I blogged about the rude people attending WI’s private WWDN tourneys. As I mentioned, the first one was fun, but the second had the most obnoxious A-Holes I have ever encountered online, and that means something.

So I decided not to play for a while. And, both thanks to lack of $$$, and lack of time, I haven’t.

I even uninstalled the Chris Moneymaker game. I just don’t have any desire to play it anymore. I guess it’s a good thing.

Rehearsals Going Well

Had rehearsal tonight for Arsenic & Old Lace. Things are going well, even if I sometimes get grumpy with Mike, the director. Tonight there was an uneasy silence after I snapped back – to which I later apologized.

Tonight I went from work to The Theatrical Shop to buy a pair of “Prince Nez” glasses, which were awfully cheap, both in price and construction. Ie: They won’t work. I then went straight to the theater and got home at around 9pm, causing me to have to listen to the cat yell at me for not feeding her promptly at 5:30 like usual.

I then answered a little email, thought about working on the podcast, but went to bed. It was a hard day at work, and not just because it was the first day everybody was back from vacation. People are still rude and nasty when they call in, usually because it is their own lack of knowledge that causes their problems.

Like one who called in because her shopping cart admin wouldn’t work. After trouble shooting for about 15 minutes, I mentioned something about cookies and she says “Oh, I DID change my secrurity from low to high.”

::thud::

“Yeah, that will probably do it.” Put it back to medium and all was right with the world.

But of course, it’s still our fault.
