Its been an interesting few days on the poker front. After making the top 60 at Wil Wheaton’s Friday tournament, I have played a few times over the weekend, and have gone up and down. On Sunday I managed to take my $50 buy-in up to $80 (Wi’s buy-in was $11, so its like I started at around $39) and then I switched tables and fell all the way to $13. ouch.
I built up a little steam and got to over $50 again, and then left last night at $26. grrrrr.

Woke up this morning to a nice surprise, my Alexa rank increased to 691,714.
However overall traffic is almost in half, dunno what that is all about, especially since I have been blogging MORE. Oh well. 
So I decided to apply to a couple of agencies in the Chicago area in hopes that my SAG membership is not totally useless out here in the midwest. Unfortunately, the headshots I have left from 1997-98 (when I was doing things like 7th Heaven) are, well… dated. So, I took the photo I made for my book, blew it up to headshot-size, slapped a border on it, and put my name on the bottom. I used the great Wal-Mart online photo service to send it to the lab so I could pick it up after work.

Ive had a lot of things come to mind today when I was thinking about things to blog about, so I know the front page would be wayyyy to long. It looks like I will need to start doing the “Extended Entry” part wher eyou put the first of the blog item on one page and then make you click through for the rest.
Its a good thing, I think.
Dunno why I have so much to talk about, maybe I am getting prepared for the Novel Writing Month of November.
In what could either be a compliment or a devastating blow to my self-confidence, Wil Himself has called me… weird. Now, this comes almost a year when he said I was “cool” [see Hot Heads Under Silent Wigs] – so I’m not quite sure what to think.
And not only am I called weird, but on TWO of his blogs
WWdN in Exile and his Card Squad blog.
