No Limit Tourney Results
Tonight I did something stupid - I deposited another $50 into my pokerstars.com account and entered a no-limit tourney. After a bunch of ups and downs, I ended up #300 something out of 1800. Not bad, but about 150 outside of a dollar prize. I then went into a $1/$2 blind limit room and proceeded to lose all the way down to about $13. I eventually worked my way back up to $57, so I actually ended the day in the black.
Unfortunately for me, after you make a deposit, you have to wait 24-48 hours for it to actually clear before you can withdraw the funds back to your bank account.
It was fun, but I am enjoying Chris Moneymaker’s game for quick poker fixes. I haven’t bought the other one for WPT or WSOP (whatever the hell it was) - but for now the Moneymaker game gives the impression of being “live opponents” - so hopefully it will save me from myself.
