Thought my book was shipped weeks ago, but it seems as though The Wills is coming off of some serious illnesses and shipped the rest out last weekend. Since my CC hasn’t been refunded, I assume I am not one of the five that had their charges reversed.
On a related note, I found a “new” hacker movie called “Terminal Error” which starred ST:TNG co-star Marina Sirtis. IMDB says its from 2002 but it was in the new releases section of the video store. A very bad, bad bad movie. Typical “dad loves his business more than me” father/son conflict, along with the disgruntled fired worker. Yawn.
Went and saw The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl yesterday. In 3D no less. Was a typical Rodriguez film, but I think he should stick to Spy Kids. There was no spark that the original Spy Kids had – was a pretty flat storyline. The young cast did the best they could, but I would call it a very small step up from direct-to-video.
And like the whole world knows by now, Michael Jackson was found not guilty on all counts. I agree that nobody came out the winner – but I hope social services steps in and takes the kid away from his mother. If there was anything to be learned, it was that the mother is the one to blame for all of the family’s problems. What mother would knowingly let her kids sleep overnight at MJ’s in the first place. Parents need to take responsibility for their own actions. And from what the media has divulged about her previous lawsuits, she is one of the scum of the world.
Whether MJ is morally guilty or innocent, Gavin’s mother should get a harsh checkup from social services.
Luckily for us, we have a new Grapefruit – Edgar Ray Killen.
